This film narrates the story of a father who is struggling hard to rescue his daughter from a very rare disease. It is a complete family story, which describes the love, struggle and pain of an unwanted situation.

New comer child actor Prasiddhi Nayak is playing the character ‘Pihu’ in this film. Directed by TV serial actor turned director Chinmay Mishra, the cast of the film includes well-known actors from O-town like Siddhant Mohapatra, Manoj Mishra, Anu Choudhury and Sumanta Dash. While the story of the film has been penned by Mamta Nanda & Amit Kumar, cinematography has been done by Biswabhusan Mohapatra and music of the film has been composed by Goodly Ratha.

Talking about the inspiration behind producing a film in this challenging period, Gungun said to My City Links, “I want to mention the names of my teammates here, starting from my partner in crime Manoj bhai, our director Chinmay, the diva Anu apa and our creative champ Mamta. We started shooting at the end of February this year but unfortunately the pandemic blocked our path. Being the producer, I am definitely not in front of the screen this time. Staying off-screen I have tried to give my best, which is a different experience altogether.”

“Since it’s a satellite film, we do have a very limited budget and time to finish it. So that was the main challenge for us. But definitely we were all aware that we are not going to compromise on the quality and presentation of our content. Be it the artists or the technicians, everybody has cooperated and that is the reason we have now completed this film. Like every production house, we also want to make big cinemas for theatres. Whenever the time permits us, we will definitely do that.” she added.

Talking about his character Manoj Mishra said, “I am playing a very suspicious character about which I can’t reveal much now. It’s a movie made purely for our Odia audience. It has a contemporary topic and presentation. It’s a great step by our group. We can easily criticize anyone’s film, but it’s not easy to make one. So we thought let’s stop being worried about other’s mistakes and just try to make some good cinema as a team.”

“We all were very clear about our work and that’s what made it easier for us to complete this movie. We wanted the family emotion to come out properly. After watching the songs of the film people have started appreciating this and are expecting to witness a great film. We are very excited for its release now.” he added.

From the early days when Chinmay was in college, he has always had a keen interest towards the film industry. Then he got the opportunity to act in different Odia daily soaps. He said, “There I got to learn practical experience. I have always tried to learn the techniques of shooting and direction. Thanks to Manoj Bhai and Gunugun. Both of them have believed in me, that’s what made me capable of making this film. I also want to thank Munna Bhai and my friend Anu and Mamta for cooperating so much. All of them have also helped me clear any hurdles that came our way.”

Anu said, “Although I have a special appearance in this film, the character I am playing is a major one. We are actually one team; whenever we meet, we only talk about cinema. But this time I am happy that we have moved one step ahead now. It’s a team effort. I knew Chinmay as an actor but as a director he has worked very hard to make this film. I am hopeful that he will even do better in the near future.”
