Parichay Foundation Presents 7th Edition of SHRIE Awards

On the occasion of Father’s Day each year, Parichay Foundation holds a one-of-its-kind award ceremony that honours and felicitates men achievers across various fields. Keeping up with this tradition, once again Parichay Foundation organised the 7th Edition of SHRIE Awards on Sunday on the eve of Father’s Day. This is the only award ceremony in the state that exclusively honours and felicitates men achievers in different categories.

The award presentation ceremony was graced by Pradip Kumar Aamat, Minister of Forest and Environment, Government of Odisha, Munna Khan, MP, Rajya Sabha, Amar Patnaik, MP, Rajya Sabha, Sulata Deo, MP, Rajya Sabha, Sulochana Das, Mayor, Bhubaneswar, Arup Patnaik, Chairperson, Odisha Mo Parivaar, Akash DasNayak, Chairperson, Mo School, Dr. Prasanna Kumar Patasani, Vice President BJD and former MP, Priyadarshi Mishra, Former Chairperson OSHB and former MLA and Manasi Pradhan, Indian Women’s Rights activist and author.

The SHRIE Awards this year was conferred to:

1. Lifetime Achievement Award- Pranab Patnaik and Pradosh Patnaik
2. Award in the field of Medical Science- Dr. Shovan Kumar Rath
3. Award in field of Art and Culture- Guru Sarat Das and Dr. (Er.) Srinibas Ghatuary
4. Award in the field of NRO- Pratap Das
5. Award in field of Social Work- Abhaya Mohanta
6. Award in field of Education and Entrepreneur- Mr. Anil Pradhan
7. Award in field of Business Leader- Brahma Mishra
8. Award in field of Media- Dillip Hali
9. Award in field of Sports- Deep Ranjan Bisoyi
10. Award in the field of Entertainment-. Kuna Tripathy
11. Award in field of Corporate Excellence- R.K. Mohapatra
12. Special mention Award- Prof Sitikantha Mishra and Rajib Shekhar Sahoo
13. Award in field of Literature- Dr. Phani Mohanty
14. Award in field of Sculpture- Gajendra Kumar Padhi
15. Award in the field of Sustainable Fashion- Dr. Binay Bhusan Jena
16. Special Citation- Santosh Patnaik and. Sanjay Mahakud

Founder President of Parichay Foundation, Rosalin Patasani Mishra said, “Every year, we are getting achievers who are joining us from all over the country and that fills my heart with pride. They are all inspirational in their own right. I want to thank each one, including my team members, who have stood with us over these years encouraging us to do good work for women and child empowerment. We hope we can live up to the expectations of our well-wishers in future too.”

The awardees were selected on the basis of suggestions of all executive and committee members of Parichay and awardees from previous years include both renowned and eminent men achievers as well as those who have made significant social impact in their own spheres but stayed away from limelight.

The award ceremony also witnessed a cultural extravaganza with a variety of performances presented by renowned classical dancer Saswat Joshi and troops, which enthralled the audience who took part in such an exclusive award presentation ceremony.

Parichay Foundation has been working for the promotion of Indian art and culture and bringing about economic and social upliftment of deprived women and children in urban slums of Odisha and Delhi for the past one decade. The Foundation, which has been felicitated by the President of India and recognized by the United Nations for its outstanding work, has been organising SHRIE Awards since 2016 to acknowledge the achievements of men in various sectors. Also the foundation has been organising AARYA Awards for Women achievers since 2012.
