Papu And Pragyan Come Together For ‘Detective Karan Arjun’

After the success of her first film ‘Sahani Ghara Kahani’ as a producer, actress Lipsa Mishra is going to present the second one titled ‘Detective Karan Arjun’. Starring the most popular comedians of the O-town Papu Pam Pam and Pragyan Ranjana Khatua in lead roles, the film has been directed by Aswini Garnaik. Along with an item number by Lipsa herself, the film will witness two newcomers Resma and Priyanka. The film has been scheduled to have its world TV premiere coming Sunday (15^th May) on Zee Sarthak at 6:30 pm.

The music is composed by Abhijit Majumdar and the lyrics are penned by Nirmal Nayak. The  audio release of the film took place recently at a restaurant in the capital city in the presence of the entire cast and crew of the film. 

Excited about his new film, Papu said to My City Links, “Pragyan and I are playing two frustrated MBA graduates. This is my second film with Pragyan. The first one was ‘Suna Pila Screw Dhila’. Besides acting, I have also sung a song for the film.”

The plot of the film is based on the life of two educated but unemployed guys, who are trying to be detectives. It contains situational comedy, which would tickle your funny bone.

Happy being a producer, Lipsa said, “After being a producer, I found that being punctual is not just the duty, but it is the need of any project. Because from the beginning of the shoot, we start spending money. Although I have always been very punctual, now I feel all artists and technicians should take this seriously.”

“Everyone knows when comedians like Papu and Pragyan are there, it’s going to be a whole package of entertainment. I have a guest appearance in the film. I am sure our audiences are going to enjoy this film a lot,” she signed off.
