‘Panchatantra’ Delves Into The World Of Office

After entertaining Odia audiences with some interesting Odia web-series like ‘Saheb Biwi Aur Saala’, ‘Welcome to the Family’, ‘Google Kahuchi’, ‘Tike Sata Tike Micha’, ‘Panic Shorts’, etc. Technoart Productionz is back with their 8th web series “Panchatantra” on YouTube. The trailer of the series was released recently and it looks and feels fresh. It is all set to release this Friday (March 19).

We all have learned stories of ‘Panchatantra’ during our childhood. The stories always give some good messages and teach us moral learnings. As the makers claim this ‘Panchatantra’ is a sitcom around a creative digital agency which has its own issues and is trying to solve it in its own quirky ways. Quirky characters and quirky situations make up for the premise and it promises to be a one of its kind web content in Odia digital space.

While the series has been shot and directed by Anupam Patnaik, it is written by Roshan Bisoi who has acted in it as well. It has been edited by late Deven Mishra. And this was the last project which he edited before his demise. This 4 episode series will be of around one hour duration with each episode being 15-20 minutes of duration.

Adding about the series Anupam said to My City Links, “We had just resumed office after lockdown. We wanted to shoot something in the office as shooting outdoors wasn’t allowed. I and Roshan thought of Panchatantra. It’s an office sitcom with quirky characters. We shot it within our office premises adhering to COVID regulations. I hope people will like this quirky series.”

Actors like Barsha Patnaik, Dipanwit Dasmohapatra, Pranab Prasanna Rath, Roshan Bisoi and Dibyajyoti Mohanty will be seen playing major roles in the series.

Being a huge fan of modern sitcoms that address modern issues Roshan said, “When the opportunity came to write a sitcom revolving around a modern world, I got excited and here is the output. We hope our audience will show us love, like they have done before for our previous projects.”

Dipanwit said, “I am playing Abhishek, a photojournalist. Abhishek is a good photographer, understands stories, and loves a good high! Not in the same order though. Laziness is one of the key elements of this character throughout the series. This will be real fun for the audience to watch. Playing characters like this may seem easy from outside but you really need good improvisation skills with great timing to play characters like these. I hope the audience will relate to it and they will also have some good time like us.”
