OTDC’s Nimantran Restaurant In Bhubaneswar Hosts Authentic Odia Cuisine

Odia cuisine lovers now have a one-stop destination in the capital city. Inaugurated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday, the Nimantran restaurant of Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (ODTC)  has come up to promote hospitality sector and Odia cuisine. It was inaugurated on the occasion of 42nd Foundation Day of the OTDC. A dedicated wing of the Corporation will manage the restaurant.

Located at Rupali Square near Ramadevi Women’s University, Nimantran will serve authentic Odia cuisine to its customers. The aim of the move is to popularise Odia cuisine and promote culinary tourism. Nimantran is a chain of restaurants to be opened by the Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) across the state. In the next phase, Nimantran chain of restaurants will open at the 17th century Rani Bakhri (Queen’s Palace) in Sambalpur and at Blue flag beach in Puri.

Nimantran has been conceptualised with the purpose to serve authentic cuisines from different districts of Odisha. Prominent chefs have prepared a special menu to serve the taste of Odisha to the diners.

A special menu has been planned by prominent chefs to serve the taste of Odisha on the platters of the diners at the restaurant, said an OTDC official.
