Odia Fashion Blogger Shweta Choudhury’s Reel Gets Featured During IPL 2020
Well-known Odia fashion blogger Shweta Choudhury has added another feather to her cap when television sports channel Star Sports featured her Instagram Reel on Indian Premier League 2020. Shweta’s 15 seconds wardrobe fusion video titled ‘What If IPL Clubs Are People’ for the new Instagram feature Reel caught everyone’s attention and was featured during the cricket carnival.
Talking about her experience an overwhelmed Shweta said, “IPL is a huge craze in our country and every Indian knows about cricket. So as I keep creating such content, I decided to recreate the logos of the clubs as people. It’s a sheer coincidence that the day I posted the lookbook of IPL and posted it on Instagram, the announcement of IPL 2020 happened just after an hour. Later, my reel was also hugely appreciated and now it has more than fifty thousand views.”
Talking about the reel being featured on television she said, “Since I am managed by Born On Instagram, I got a call from the team and they said that they wanted to feature my reel on Star Sports during IPL. I feel Instagram choosing me for this is a big thing because they found the idea behind personification of the clubs unique.”
As a digital content creator, Shweta has created lookbooks of 90’s candies, cartoon characters, TV shows, web series, websites, food outlets etc. She believes that content should be something to which people can relate to and connect with.
She likes to travel and she keeps exploring unseen corners of Odisha frequently. She shared about her love for Odisha and said, “Our state has so much beauty that is yet to be discovered by the rest of the world. Being an influencer, I believe it’s my responsibility to do the best on my part so that people get to know about Odisha.”
