Odia Actor Tamanna Vyas Debuts in Tollywood

After actors like Naina Das and Sabyasachi Mishra, another Ollywood actor has added her name to the list of Odia  actors in Tollywood. We are talking about one of the young and stylish Ollywood actors of the present time, Tamanna Vyas. Recently one of the songs of her upcoming Telugu film ‘Veyyi Shubhamulu Kalugu Neeku’ was released on the official YouTube channel of ‘Aditya Music’. And this has made her fans excited for her first Telugu venture.

Starring Vijay Raja (son of Actor Shivaji Raja) opposite Tamanna in lead role, story, screenplay and direction has been done by Raams Rathod under ‘Jay Durga Movie Productions’. The makers have postponed its release due to the covid situations. It will release once things start getting under control and theatres open again.

Tamanna, who made her debut with the Odia film ‘Bhaina Kana Kala Se’ has also acted in several other Odia films like ‘Blackmail’, ‘Prem Kumar’, ‘Golmal Love’, ‘Romeo Raja’ and ‘Super Boy’. She was in the news when she lip-locked with her co-actor Divya Disha Mohanty in the Odia web-series ‘Chumbak’.

Telling about her character in the film and about the shooting experience, Tamanna said to My City Links, “It’s a horror, comedy and romantic film. I am playing a typical Telugu girl, who is very much attached to her father. We have shot this last year at places like Hyderabad and Goa. All the cast and crew were very supportive towards me as I am new to the industry. So I had a great experience shooting  this film.”

“I was well aware that without proper pronunciation of the language I can’t convey what my character wants to say and will fail to reach the audience’s heart. I had gone through the script thoroughly and with the help of one of my friends from Berhampur I used to learn the meanings and pronunciations of what I was going to say in Telugu. I also cleared a lot of doubts during our workshops before the shoot,” she added while asked about how she managed speaking in the new language.

Tamanna hails from Berhampur and most of her friends are Telugu, so she has seen their love for Telugu cinema very closely. Hence she has always wished to do a Telugu film. “For the last two years, I have been trying to enter into Tollywood. So I used to go to Hyderabad and give auditions for various projects. I auditioned for this film too and fortunately, I got selected. Allu Arjun is my most favorite Tollywood star. I am very glad that I got to see his house in Hyderabad. I have a dream to work with him in the future.” the actor signed off.
