Odia Actor Sabyasachi Comes To The Rescue Once Again

Ollywood megastar Sabyasachi Mishra has garnered huge applause once again thanks to his work as a good samaritan. While people from the State have been stranded in other States last year owing to the sudden lockdown, Sabyasachi had helped out many of them to return to Odisha.

A popular name in the Odia film industry, Sabyasachi is known for helping out people in need, has yet again come out with an initiative to reach out to the COVID 19 patients to meet their emergency requirements.

In a video release, Sabyasachi encouraged everyone to stay strong and safe during this difficult time. He said that in view of the worsening statistics of the COVID 19 situation outside Odisha, lots of Odias in other states are suffering without getting any medical assistance. On receiving hundreds of requests from COVID 19 patients and their relatives, he decided to take up this initiative. He has been  continuously getting help requests from Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat and other states to aid them in  getting ICU beds, oxygen and medicines.

Stating that he is trying his best with his resources to address maximum possible cases, the actor clarified that he had created an online form to get all the requisite details of the patients and their emergency requirements so that he can personally address the issues. He also urged everyone to come forward and fill out the form for people whom they know are in dire need of any related assistance.

Sabyasachi further informed that with this initiative, he is trying to become a bridge between the needy people and the local facilities by providing them important medicines and oxygen.

In just one day he has managed to arrange about 55 ICU beds in Maharashtra, Delhi, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Odisha. This is a great step to use one’s resourcefulness to help out people in real need.
