Now Order Odia Authentic Pitha From Home

To help the denizens of Bhubaneswar relish delicious Odia pitha on the occasion of Raja festival, the Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) has launched ‘Pitha On Wheels’ and ‘Home Delivery’ On Friday.

Different types of Pitha like Manda, Arisha, Kakara, Chakuli, Chandrakala would be available at Bhubaneswar Pantha Nivas during the three-day festival.

Informing about the initiative, OTDC Chairperson Shreemayee Mishra said, “Every year during Raja festival OTDC makes special arrangements with all varieties of Pithas and swings. However,  this year it would be different. Denizens could avail the facility of home delivery for pithas.”

Under ‘Pitha on Wheel’ initiative from June 15 to 17, Pithas will be also available near Jaydev Bhawan, Rupali Square, Khandagiri Square, CRP Square, Pokahriput Square, and Niladri Vihar Square. ‘Pitha On Wheels’ will be available in Sambalpur.

Stating that through this initiative of OTDC, the Self Help Groups are getting an opportunity to sell the products, Mishra said, “Special counters have been opened at Pantha Nivas of  Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Sambalpur, and Rourkela to sell Pithas. People can purchase Pithas from these counters following all the guidelines of COVID-19.”
