New Chartbuster “Baadshah” Starring Sambhav & Prakruti Is Ruling

While there is no doubt that the Odia music video industry is growing at a very fast rate, it is also evolving creatively with each project. The latest example is ‘Baadshah’. Starring popular actors Sambhav Mansingh and Prakruti Mishra, the music video is getting rave reviews not only from the audience but also getting appreciation from the B-town people as well.

Produced by Kpee, sung by Kuldeep Pattnaik and Aseema Panda, the music video has been released today (June 26) on the YouTube channel ‘Dhun Musical’. Music by Asad Nizam, lyrics by Pushpak Parida and choreography by Suryan Rath, the song has been directed by Biswa Bhusan Mohaptra. 

Talking about the project, national award winning actor Prakruti said to My City Links, “This was a very unplanned yet one of the finest projects I have done till date. As people now recognize me nationally, we wanted to make an Odia project which can be a pan India thing. When I got to know about the location which is the Gwalior Fort, I imagined that it was going to be massive. It has been done very professionally. We have had makeup artists from Delhi, and Anamika, who is one of the finest designers from Mumbai film industry has designed my costumes for this song.”

“We shot for two days and the weather was extremely hot there. It was not as cool as it looks on screen (chuckles). And managing those heavy costumes and dancing with them in such hot weather was the main challenge for me,” she added.

Overwhelmed with the response, one of the popular Odia actors of the present generation Sambhav said, “The audience is appreciating both our actors and technicians. Well known names from the Mumbai entertainment industry like actor Gauahar Khan, Vikash Gupta (Big Boss fame), Singer Vishal Mishra and many more have also appreciated it.”

“Primarily it was my idea to make a project like this. Thankfully Kpee bhai liked it and agreed to move ahead with it. The locations are premium and are not budget friendly at all. But with the grace of god, everything has gone well and we completed it on time,” added the actor who was also seen in another hit track of the same YouTube channel, “Re Mana” two months earlier.

“Of course my previous Odia projects have helped me. But It’s the first ever Odia project, which is helping me in getting offers from Mumbai.  Some well-known B-town people are also liking it and showing their love in the comment section and in DM as well. So it’s definitely a proud moment for our whole team,” Prakruti signed off.
