Well, My City Links has a solution! We bring you a list of five places (both hi-end and pocket friendly options) where you can definitely find food even if it is late!
The Crown
If money isn’t a criteria for you but good food is, what better than opting for Hotel Crown! The two restaurants – Zodiac and Bollywood have enough options to not only fill your stomach, but give a satisfying feel.
Zodiac restaurant has an option for lavish buffet with multi-cuisines ranging from Indian, Chinese and Continental dishes. The buffet has 14 non-vegetarian options which range from crab kasa to mutton biriyani, mansa dalma, liver kasa. For vegetarians, there are 12 varieties, besides seven variants of dessert for people with a sweet tooth. For the health-conscious, there are 10 varieties of salad. The best part about this restaurant is the menu changes every day!
Bollywood, the other restaurant of the hotel, is for people who are choosier, and do not believe in ‘eating it all.’ All the options in non-vegetarian, vegetarian and desserts are available in Bollywood as well, but comes in ‘A la carte.’ So choose and pay for what you eat!
Cream Stone
Ever had late night ice-cream cravings? Well, for the ardent ice-cream lovers, anytime in the day is ice-cream time but if you suddenly have the urge to relish Choco Lava or a Hot Chocolate Fudge late in the night, Cream Stone at Jaydev Vihar is the go-to place.
Enjoy as they prepare a special ice-cream treat for you with nuts, extra chocolate sauce or nutella, or any other combination as per choice. Though we love all flavours, do try Ferroro Rocher, Nuts Overload and Choco Lava.
If these options sound a little too high-end, the roadside eateries are always there for your rescue. Here is a list of pocket-friendly ‘desi’ eateries which serve good food till late.
Hotel ‘Bhaina’
Well, why take tension when you have ‘Bhaina!’ Just like brothers are usually problem-solvers, this ‘Bhaina’ eatery in Unit IV is your solution to good food at odd hours.
From chicken tandoori to chilli chicken, name any fried chicken items and you get it right on your table ‘hot and fresh.’ Their ‘paranthas’ are a major crowd-puller and you can find all kinds of stuffed ‘paranthas’ at this place. There are a few basic vegetarian options as well.
Located close to a coaching institute, this place often remains crowded from evening hours and also has snacking options!
‘Khushi & Aahar’ Dhaba
If delicious ‘Aahar’ gives you ‘Khushi,’ then head out to these two eateries on the National Highway. Situated near Baramunda bus stand, these two ‘dhabas’ offer lip-smacking ‘nan-tadka’ with ‘chhole.’ There is paneer butter masala, chilli gobi, and of course ‘bhaat-dal’ on the menu too.
Though it is always better to opt for simple food in dhabas, ‘Khushi’ and ‘Aahar’ serve a wide range of non-vegetarian dishes incuding ‘mutton kasa,’ ‘pohala macha’ and ‘chunna macha.’ The best part? It is pocket-friendly!
Hotel Siyaram
This eatery caters to the ‘no onion, no garlic’ category foodies. Providing pure vegetarian food, this restaurant situated at Rajmahal square is the most preferred place of vegans.
From paneer to vegetables to dal, the restaurant offers the perfect ‘Ghar Ka Khaana’ for the foodies. The menu is vast and the waiter strikes off the food item from the menu as it gets over.
