Grand Music Launch Event of Upcoming Odia Film Mana Museum

The music launch event of the upcoming Odia movie, Mana Museum, took place on Friday evening in the capital city. Directed by Dhrubananda Panda and produced by Sangeeta Mohanty, the film stars newcomer Nihar Nayak and popular Odia television actor Upasana in lead roles.

Upasana, who was last seen in the film Chumki, is excited to witness the audience’s reaction to the film. “Mana Museum has a very unique storyline and is not a typical love story. The bond shared between best friends is very pure, and often that love stays unrecognized for years. We are hoping that our audience will enjoy this movie,” she continued.

According to Dhrubananda, who is a popular cinematographer and has done more than 45 Odia films as a DOP, Mana Museum has a unique message to share about two friends. His credit list as a DOP includes Odia films like Love Master, Abhya, Siva Not Out, Superstar, etc. “This is a project very close to my heart as this is a story of a cinematographer. It’s my dream project in which I have been working since 2019,” he added.

Sangeeta, who is a Software Engineer by profession and very passionate about film making, spoke to the media about the content-oriented script of Mana Museum. “We have tried to showcase a love story of two school friends. Love is a pure bond and how that bond evolves over the period of time; you will witness that in this movie,” she said.

The lead actor, Nihar, who is a professionally trained actor from the Houde School of Acting in the USA, said, “I strongly believe that acting is like any other mainstream profession; someone needs to study before pursuing it as a career. I am back to my motherland to contribute to the Odisha Film Fraternity. I am very much thankful to Sangeeta mam and Dhrubananda sir for considering me for this film.”

Sarat Nayak is the music director of the movie, while Bijaya Malla is the lyricist. The screenplay and dialogue of the movie are written by Bharadwaj Panda. Sukumar Mani is the editor of the movie while Girish Mohanty is the choreographer of the movie. The movie has seven beautiful songs which are surely going to touch the soul of the audience.
