First Hindi Original By Swayam Padhi Featuring Prakruti Mishra Released
Featuring National Award winning actress Prakruti Mishra, one of the most popular singers of O-town Swayam Pravash Padhi has released his first ever original Hindi song today on his official YouTube Channel. Titled ‘Bewajah Ishq’, the video of this romantic song features Swayam opposite Prakruti.
Its special screening took place on Thursday (21st January) at a shopping mall in the capital city. The fans of both Swayam and Prakruti gathered in large numbers along with the media and some well known celebrities from the O-town. The audience at the mall appreciated the fresh pair as they are seen sharing a very good chemistry on screen.
Produced by Digital sketch films, while the lyrics have been written by Ghanist Baghel, it has been composed by Roshan Vaishnab and the video has been directed by Eureka Apta.
Swayam made this song in 2020 but unfortunately couldn’t complete it due to the pandemic, told My City Links, “We shot it towards the end of last year. Today it is finally out. I hope our audience will enjoy it. It’s my second video with her. Before this we made a cover of ‘Taaron Ke Shehar’ together. She is both a fantastic singer and actor.”
“As an artist we all want to grow, so definitely I wish after getting the tag of Ollywood singer, soon I will get the chance of replacing that ‘O’ with ‘B’ and get attention as a Bollywood singer (Chuckles).” added the singer.
Prakruti praised Swayam’s acting skills and said, “The experience was brilliant. As we are very good friends, I was very comfortable working with him. When for the first time I heard the song from him, I liked it so much that I couldn’t stop myself. He is a superstar singer; I hope this Hindi song will help him make his own place on a national platform. I have always tried to promote artists from our state.”
“I am planning to make the cover version of this song in my voice. And I am going to release it on my Instagram handle. So stay tuned,” concluded the actor.
