Fashion Blogger Shweta Choudhury’s Scorches Instagram With DDLJ Reel

After trending on Star Sports screen with her recent reel ‘What If IPL Clubs Are People’, fashion blogger from Odisha, Shweta Choudhury has now featured in an Instagram story by Yash Raj Films (YRF).

To celebrate 25 years of the blockbuster movie ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge; YRF has featured multiple reels of which Shweta’s video has received huge appreciation.

Overwhelmed with the response, Shweta said, “I feel great. My video is basically a look-book of Kajol and Shahrukh Khan’s iconic outfits in the song ‘Mere khwabon mein jo aaye’ sung by the legendary Lata Mangeshkar. I guess that people have relived the era to some extent with my reel.”

Shweta shared that she created the whole concept within a short period of time. “Since my work is mostly managed on social media, I got a message on October 19 that Instagram is partnering with YRF to celebrate 25 years of DDLJ and asked if I could create a reel for it. I first searched for ideal outfits to justify the look-book of the characters Raj and Simran in DDLJ. It took me three hours to shoot and more hours to edit, but I completed it on that night itself. It was a 30-minute-long video and the actual task was to trim it to 30 seconds,” she signed off.
