CM Mohan Majhi Approves Major Salary Hike for Odisha Special Striking Force Personnel
In a significant move, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has approved a major salary hike for personnel of the Odisha Special Striking Force (OSSF). The revised pay scale benefits several ranks across newly established battalions, which primarily consist of ex-Army, Navy, and CAPF members.
As per the updated structure:
Sipahi (GD): ₹30,000 ➝ ₹45,000
Lance Naik/Naik/Havildar (GD): ₹32,000 ➝ ₹50,000
JCO (GD) & Instructors: ₹40,000 ➝ ₹55,000
Technical roles have also seen a jump in pay:
Digging Drivers/Seaman Mechanics/Khalasis: ₹30,000 ➝ ₹45,000
Syrang/Engine Drivers: ₹32,000 ➝ ₹50,000
Masters: ₹40,000 ➝ ₹55,000
This revision aims to recognize the efforts of the OSSF and boost morale among the personnel serving across the state.
