City Teenager Wins Miss Teen Diva India International
Bringing in more and more beauty trophies for the state, there's yet another name to be added to the list, this time of a teen diva. Lavanya Das, a tenth grade student from DAV Public School, Unit 8, has won the crown of Miss Teen Diva India International 2019, recently held at Delhi.
Out of the 40 participants from all over the country, Das happened to be the only Odia contestant. However, she did showcase the state's rich culture through her costume.

Das had also been adjudged the Miss Tourism Ambassador Universe Teen 2018 title at Miss and Mister Tourism Ambassador Universe 2018 in Malaysia. She had also won three awards Best Fantasy National Costume, Best Outstanding Achiever 2018 and Best Folk Dancer—at the ‘Prince and Princess International’ contest in Thailand.
The teen beauty is not done yet. She plans to become an IAS Officer and study sincerely, but without giving up on opportunities to participate in a beauty pageant.
