Recently, Swedish multi-national clothing brand H&M opened its store in Bhubaneswar, much to the delight of fashion lovers of the city. H&M’s 50th store in India, the outlet was inaugurated at Janpath on January 9.
With a wide range of trendy clothing pieces, shoes, and accessories for men, women, and kids, H&M has already cemented its place in people’s wardrobes across the country with its strong online and offline presence. People having interest in fashion and the latest trends already know about the quality and style that H&M offers. And with the new store, fashionistas in Bhubaneswar have got an opportunity to explore the best H&M products in their hometown. My City Links spoke to a few customers about their experience with the brand and its fashion.
Abhipsa, a customer said, “I love H&M’s collection and offers. I have purchased from their stores in different parts of the country. I was really excited when I learned that H&M has opened a store in Bhubaneswar. Though I have issues with the size of products, it is just great that we now have a store here.”
Similarly, Sunanda Das said, “I have always been a big fan of H&M since I love streetwear. H&M never fails in impressing customers with its great collection. Now, we have a store in Bhubaneswar where we can just visit and check out the dresses and even try them on before making purchase. I am really excited to go through the latest collection. In Bhubaneswar, we don’t have many brands which have such a large collection at reasonable prices. This is where H&M makes a big difference.”
“I visited the store today to buy shoes after I saw them on the app. I think it is a pretty big deal that H&M has opened an outlet in our city. The store is at Janpath and is accessible for all. H&M has put up some great deals for us and I am looking forward to finding more exciting products” said Ashu, another customer.
The H&M store at Janpath has undoubtedly brought cheer among fans of the brand. On the very first day of its opening, the store had a long queue of customers.
In the last few days, the footfall of visitors has gone up considerably. In view of the rush, the store employees are adhering to all the Covid-19 protocols to ensure a safe shopping experience for customers.
