158th Anniversary Celebration of Cuttack Club
Established in 1865 in the heart of Cuttack, the premier heritage club in the state Cuttack Club is one of the oldest clubs not only in the State but in the entire Country. On the occasion of its 158th anniversary, the club is organising a two day celebration on 1st and 2nd of April this year.
On the 1st of April, Cuttack Club is organising ‘Voice of Barabati’, a singing competition which will be judged by recognised singers. The event will be followed by the felicitation of members of the Cuttack club and an award giving ceremony.
In a progressive move, Cuttack Club in association with Oditribe, a company that strives to bring back the glory of natural, authentic and ethically sourced indigenous produce, will be holding a fashion show by the transgender community of Odisha, along with the tribal community, on the 2nd of April. The ‘Voice of Fashion’ show aims at endorsing the astounding and Intricate handicrafts of Odisha. Ollywood sensation Sohini Mishra and singer Shashank Shekhar will be present at the venue. This event will be followed by glamorous belly dancers from Russia and Spain.
