Skivas Tattoo Studio Of Bhubaneswar Flaunts An All New Look!
One of the oldest tattoo studios in Bhubaneswar, Skivas, recently donned a new look to relaunch itself as a bigger and better studio at Chintamaneswar in the city. Well known for its creative tattoos, body art and piercing activities, Skivas run by Om Acharya started its journey in 2011 and since then has become the first choice for all tattoo lovers in the city.
The new studio, which was inaugurated by Tourism and Culture Minister Ashok Panda and Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena in presence of local corporator Amarash Jena and MLA Badal Mohanty, will also have a training centre where interested students can learn about tattoo art. On the occasion, a first ever tattoo magazine was also launched by renowned anchor Sulagna Routray and award winning tattoo artist Amin Sultan Hajjiani.
Hajjiani, who is also the tattoo teacher of Om Acharya, told MCL that Odisha is a booming market for tattoo artists and tattoo lovers. Wishing all the luck to his student, he said, “I hope Om can have a better platform to showcase his creativity with this new studio. As a mentor I can say that Om has always been very hardworking and creative from the beginning. I feel very proud of him for all the good work he is doing and his achievements. Thanks to Skivas and Om, all those in love with body art have the advantage of getting their desired tattoo from the best tattoo artist in the city. Another plus point for Skivas is its creative ambience and the proper hygiene procedure that is followed for all piercing and tattoo work.”
Skivas is also an authorised traditional distributer of tattoo products. Happy with the journey so far, Om told MCL, “I feel proud to recognise myself as a tattoo artist of, by and for the people of Odisha. I began this humble journey five years back when I brought the concept of tattoos to the city along with my brainchild Skivas and over these years, I can say body art has grown to greater heights and achieved the stature it deserves. Thus I believe have created a path with my passion for art and artists to grow.”
He also appeared excited about the launch of the magazine as he informed, “This is the first ever tattoo magazine for the city customers. It basically educates people about tattoos and aims to spread some necessary information about the entire procedure, the hygiene part to be followed and other relevant details. And, yes, it also informs a little about my journey so far.”
Expressing hope that more and more customers would visit his new studio, he also informed that he had plans to come up with a hang-out place along with a coffee shop in his studio in the near future.
