India’s First Ever Health Mall Is In Bhubaneswar!

Bhubaneswar is emerging as one of the fastest growing cities in the country and is continually striving to give it denizens solutions for leading a healthy and holistic life. India’s first ever health mall, City Pharmacy, got opened at Sandy’s Complex at Jaydev Vihar. The directors of City Pharmacy, Altaf Ali, Amrinal Ali, Pawan Rajotia and Basant Rajotia claim that this shopping mall is the first-of-its-kind that will provide people with all kinds of health products.

The center was inaugurated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, along with other delegates like Health Minister Pratap Jena, tourism minister Ashok Panda and Member of Parliament Prasanna Patasani were also present at the inaugural ceremony.

“Being an innovative start-up, the state government is very supportive of it. The mall assists people in finding the right health product for themselves. It is designed for all kinds of people of all age groups. All the products available are organic. Moreover, the manner the mall is structured and organised alphabetically in different segments and categories for children, women, men and senior citizens. The systematic arrangement of products will also help people find them easily around other health malls that we are planning to come up with in other cities,” told Director Altaf Ali at the inaugural ceremony.

 

Adding further, he said, “This is a completely new concept and can help people to lead a healthy life. These days, we are becoming increasingly dependent on medicines for the well being of our health. We hope this centre will help people in finding a complete solution for the maintaining their health.”

Another partner and director Pawan Rajotia also emphasised on the importance of the mall for people saying, “This mall goes beyond just selling health products. The customers can not only find the accurate medicinal product for all their ailments, but will also be able to consult dieticians to find out a healthy diet and good products for themselves. Also, through the mall, we are looking at generating more employment and spread the benefits of organic products for the people.” Though it was only the inaugural day, Rajotia confirmed the pharmacy mall was already receiving tremendous response from the customers.

 

S.S Ali, a customer visiting the store said, “This is a unique and innovative concept. I visited City Pharmacy to find some medication for my back pain, and found immediate assistance from their employee. The suggested product was quite helpful.”
